A bit about me,
I'm 20, just moved into my own house :) Wooohoo!
I listen to all kinds of music on any format (not really vinyl or CD biased) and
have 2 systems:
home cinema
(click pix for larger image)

Panasonic TXPH40 television 32", my latest purchase.
(Just love it, having had an old curved screen 28" beforehand.)
Panasonic Sky Reciver.
Sony NS700VB DVD Player, also used for multi channel SACDs like Tubular Bells :)
Sony STRDB1070 6.1 amplifier.
And an X-Box, which I've modified to do all sorts of things :)
B&W S3 speakers, LCR60 as centre, 602s at the front 602s at the rear.
(Rarely listen to music on this system, it was built around one thing - going very loud :)
Later additions will be a subwoofer and then a projector of some sort, but for now
I'm very happy.
Also
I have included a picture of the house rabbit.
His name is jones, or the 'Home Cinema Bunny' as he is also known.
His love of cables is extraordinary, try telling him there is no difference
between OFC 79
and QED silver anniversary, he would eat them both.
I've also noticed an improvement in sound quality when
he is shoved into the bass reflex port of the B&W 602 speakers :)
hi-fi (or should be mid-fi)
Vinyl is played back via a Rega Planar 3 (from around 1983) with a (just fitted)
Elys cartridge.
I'm very fond of this deck as its been around such a long time, my Dad bought it second hand in 1984
and its been in use since, I stole it about 8 years ago :) phono amp is a
Rega Fono.
CD is played back through a Rotel 965bx, I've just bought this second-hand, seems to do a nice job,
will probably be changed for a Densen or Rega eventually :)
The amp is an Audio Innovations Series 300, a baby valve amp that seems to be very nice,
I listened to it in a store against an AVI 2000 MI integrated,
(I went to the store for the AVI, I left with the audio innovations)
dunno which one is really better, but I liked the 300 more :)
All put through some KEF Reference 103.2s from 1980, these were my Dads,
after replacing some rather dead bits in the crossover with some advice from Wilmslow
Audio,
they're sounding great :) - Again these were my Dad's that I stole :)
I'd like some smaller speakers so I can give Dad his speakers back, or some ESL57s which
I like very much,
a new turntable eventually, maybe an LP12, or I'll go mad and save for a Well-Tempered or some such :)
Considering the cost of my little hi-fi, I'm very pleased with it, I think its sounds great :)
I have also had a Nytech pre/power combo, some Crimsons, an Ion Systems,
some Mission 707 speakers, a Marantz Layla and a few other bits and bobs.
Here's to another 50 odd years of hi-fi (if I'm lucky)
